Help & Shortcuts

Tools

Hex: creates a new hex.
Duplicate: duplicates the currently selected hex.
Toggle Completed: hide/show completed hexes (halftone).
Connect: click Hex A then Hex B to connect.
Delete Link: click a line to delete it.
Drawing Tools: pen, line, shapes, and text for background annotations.

Drawing Objects

Click any drawing: to select it (shows blue outline)
Delete/Backspace: deletes selected drawing
Drawings created with pen, line, shapes, or text tools
Exit drawing mode (Esc) to select drawings

Selection

Click hex/drawing: select single item
Drag empty space: draw selection box
Left-to-right drag: selects items fully inside box
Right-to-left drag: selects items touching box (dashed outline)
Esc: clear selection

Navigation

Mouse wheel: zoom in/out
Middle-mouse drag: pan
Space + drag: pan (laptop-friendly)
Right-drag empty background: pan (backup)
Reset: resets view

Groups

Connected hexes are a group.
Dragging one selected hex moves all selected hexes together.

Import / Export

Export: Download current hexflow as JSON file
Import: Load a hexflow from a JSON file
Export files can be shared or used as backups
